Some research regarding the popularity of different cosmetic procedures available to patients of dermatological doctors has shown that most media coverage is about the aesthetic courses available to those doctors where they learn to provide such options as Botox treatments and other cosmetic procedures and that almost a third of all media coverage on the subject has to do with that type of information. Various skin disorders account for about a quarter of media coverage while issues of skin cancer and protection make up around a fifth of all the coverage. Issues of acne only account for about five percent.
